There are many abnormalities that can occur inside the mouth. Some do not cause discomfort, while others you may notice immediately. Be sure to look on the insides of your cheeks, above and under your tongue, on the roof of your mouth, and around all of your gums. Dr. Hudson will evaluate your oral health during the first visit and determine the right course of action based on your condition. He may take a biopsy of a lump or growth and send it to a lab. Most pathologies are benign (non-cancerous), but these tests are important because if the lump ends up being cancerous, early treatment yields faster and better results.
